Plans

Pick the amount of storage you need. Every plan is billed on its own terms and nothing about your files changes when you move between them.

Questions about plans

What happens if I go over my storage limit?

Uploads pause. Nothing is deleted, and downloading, sharing and deleting all keep working.

That is also what a smaller plan does: if you drop to a plan that holds less than you are storing, every file stays exactly where it is and only uploading stops until you free up room.

When does a plan end?

At the end of the period you have paid for. After that the account moves to the free plan — again without anything being deleted.

How large a file can I upload?

Each plan sets its own limit, shown on its card and in the table above. That figure is the size the server will actually accept — this site sets a ceiling of its own, and the smaller of the two is already the one printed.

Large files go up in chunks, so size is a matter of patience rather than one fragile transfer: if the connection drops, the upload carries on from the last chunk that arrived.
